JF-EquiPhysio has developed into a recognised Equine Physiotherapy service over the years since its inception in 2011.
  Delivering a professional service with a holistic, whole horse approach to rehabilitation has been our main aim to ensure each horse receives the
level of care and attention we would expect for our own.

Jayne Faulkner

Jayne graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Zoology from the University of Glasgow in 2009. She then continued her postgraduate studies to obtain her professional qualification, an Advanced Certificate in Veterinary Physiotherapy, through the Canine and Equine Physiotherapy Training Group (CEPT) based at the University of Nottingham School of Veterinary Medicine and Science.

After graduating this 2 year postgraduate course with merit, Jayne began practicing as a veterinary physiotherapist since July 2011.  From 2016-2021, Jayne joined the team at Broadleys Veterinary Hospital as their first ever on-site physiotherapist where she developed their small animal physiotherapy & hydrotherapy services.  Jayne now dedicates her time to her own small animal practice, JF-Vet Physio, based in Bannockburn as well as her equine clients at JF-EquiPhysio.

Jayne is a member of the governing body: the Institute of Registered Veterinary and Animal Physiotherapists (IRVAP).  IRVAP supports Jayne as a professional in the animal health industry in her provision of best practice care towards her clients.

Jayne continues to further her qualification with her recent recognition in 2023 as an accredited Equine INDIBA Practitioner.  

Jayne is also regulated by the Register of Animal Musculoskeletal Practitioners (RAMP) for her physiotherapy work.  This register acts as a ‘go-to’ list, for both vets and owners to consult, to obtain information on qualified and approved practitioners in their area.  RAMP’s aim is provide a list of practitioners you can be confident in appointing for the care of your animal knowing they meet the regulatory body’s stringent ‘Gold Standard’ criteria.  

Kim Morrison

Veterinary Physiotherapist

Kim joined the team in 2023 and is one of our equine veterinary physiotherapists.  She studied a BSc in Sports therapy and Rehabilitation in 2019 at University of the Highland and Island at the Perth college campus. She then continued her training to obtain her Animal Manual Therapy qualification in 2021 and then a BSc(Hons) in Veterinary Physiotherapy through the Royal Agricultural university based at Plumpton College in 2023.  She has a passion for dressage which with her horse Sid and enjoys competing in their spare time.
